Keyboard skills – service playing
Once per month, students enrolled in the Capital Organ Studio meet during a two-hour group session to learn various keyboard skills. Additionally, because many organists are employed as church musicians, elements of service playing are also included in this activity. Students are placed in varying levels according to skill and learn together the following practices:
